Who am I?
Hi, my name is Elliot! I'm a 20 year old aspiring freelance web designer & developer based in Lincolnshire, UK. I like to think of myself as very dedicated, driven and hard working.
As a child I dreamt of becoming a game developer, a passion that very quickly lead me to discover in interest in software development and web development. Most of what I know is self taught, using a mix of short crash courses on YouTube and a healthy dose of experimentation and trial and error. I am always eager to pick up new skills & further develop my abilities.
What do I do?
I am a full-stack web developer, meaning I work with both the front end (client-side) and back end (server-side). I work, mostly, with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React and Node.JS) and I love learning new languages, frameworks and technologies.
Aside from web development I am also confident in Python, a lower level language for software development, as well as Java and C#, both of which I am currently in the process of learning.
What is my goal?
Ultimately my main goal is to be able to turn my passion and dream of web development into a full-time career. By taking the risk of hiring me despite my thin portfolio will help me more than you can imagine, allowing me to kick-start my career and hit the ground running.
